Dr. Drew Hohensee, DC, CCSP
Dr. Hohensee is the director here at Kinetic Integration Manual Therapy and Performance. He started the clinic based on the idea that if people can move better, they will feel better.
Dr. Hohensee is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) with plenty of experience dealing personally with various injuries while competing in track and cross-country for the University of Wisconsin – Madison. His own experiences with injuries have helped shape his approach to treating people who are injured.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree from UW-Madison, he went on to massage school, which gave him a strong appreciation for muscles and other soft-tissue. He then continued his educational journey at Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa. Since then he has received several post-graduate certifications in various areas of evaluation and technique. He is a Full Body certified Active Release Technique (ART) provider. He has training in both the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). He is a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
Dr. Hohensee has put his skills to good use working with athletes ranging in ability from novice to Olympic medalists.
Recently he was selected to work at the US Track and Field Olympic Trials in 2012 in Eugene, Oregon and the Rev 3 Triathlon in Portland. He has also worked at the US Track and Field National Championships, US Triathlon National Championships, and the Prefontaine Classic. Additionally he has helped with Pacific University’s cross country/track & field teams, and provided treatment at many local events.
